Chandigarh, the Union Territory, is the first well planned modern city of India. The ’City Beautiful’ is famous for its  resplendent Rose Garden and Rock Garden. The unique Rock Garden which can be visualized as a creation of artistic rebellion against the City Beautiful of Le Corbousier is spread over 40 acres of land evincing great interest worldwide. The Sukhna Lake and the mountainous greeneries of Shivalik hills form the scenic backdrop to this young city. The hill resorts of Shimla, Kasauli, Chail, the snow tops of Manali, Kufri and Bhakra Dam are the popular tourist attractions. Also the holy shrines of Mata Vaishnodevi, Nainadevi, Chintpurni, Jwala ji and Golden Temple of Amritsar are other religious spots within reach.

We ensure the ’ICAAICON 2009’ will be a great scientific feast and a common platform for interaction with eminent scientists of national and international fame.

The month of October is a festive season in this part of the country and Chandigarh has a pleasant weather with temperature varying between 20°C to 30°C.  We are eagerly looking forward to welcome you warmly and would like to ensure that we are ready in every way necessary for your comfortable, fruitful and memorable stay at Chandigarh during the program.
